Abstract
Article Summary
Several complexes of molybdenum in zero
valent state were synthesized and characterized on
the basis of physico-chemical analysis and
spectroscopic methods. Molybdenum can exist in
different oxidation states such as -2, 0, +1, +2, +3, +4,
+5 and +6. In this paper authors wish to report the
synthesis and characterization of molybdenum
complexes in zero valent state stabilized by reductive
nitrosylation in aqueous-aerobic medium. In these
synthesis, higher valence state of molybdenum have
been reduced to lower valence state by nitrosylation.
