Pramod Kumar Singh , Poornima Kumari
Abstract
Article Summary
Micellization is the technology and science behind taking an oil based product and their ingredients and making them bio-absorbable or “bioavailable” to the body, without changing their molecular form and structure. The micellar efficacy of more soluble lithium salt LDS is a powerful detergent that has found wide application in the analytical biochemistry of nucleic acids because of its ability to release nucleic acids from their association with protein are lipoprotein structure in which they normally occur inside the cell. The micellar efficacy of lithium dodecyl sulphate on bioconversion of molasses to ergot alkaloids by Claviceps purpurea PKS-1966 has been assessed. It has been found that micelle, i.e., lithium dodecyl sulphate under trial has enhanced the yield of ergot alkaloids to an extent of 11.396 % higher in comparison to control i.e. 925 mg/ltr.
