Abstract

Article Summary

The efficacy of 5-nitroindazole on production of lactic acid by Lactobacillus bulgarious PK-2262 has been assessed. It has been observed that 5-nitroindazole it very active at the concentration 8.0 × 10–5M and enhanced the production of lactic acid to an extent of 6.621% higher in comparison to control. However, higher concentration of 5-nitroindazole has been found insignificant and retards the yield of lactic acid.
