Green synthesis and antiviral activity screening of some benzimidazole derivatives

Abstract
Article Summary
A series of benzimidazole derivatives having substitutions at position 2 (BZ1-BZ7) and one of the two imidazole nitrogens (BZ8-BZ14) has been synthesized. Antiviral activities of these derivatives have also been tested against two of the viruses namely Tobacco mosaic and Sunhemp rosette.
