Abstract

Article Summary

To synthesized and characterization of a few hydrazones and characterization of metal complexes derived from 2- hydroxypropiophenone nicotinic hydrazone, 2-benzoylpyridine benzoyl hydrazone and di-2-pyridyl ketone nicotinoylhydrazone. Here two ligands are NNO donor ligands and the other is an ONO donor ligand. Di-2-pyridyl ketone was selected as the carbonyl part in one of the hydrazone since it can provide a further binding site for metal cation and can thus increase the denticity. There is various physicochemical techniques are use to synthesize the coppe(II) complexes.
