Variation of acoustic parameters with temperature for sulphathiazole and dioxane binary system
Anjul Singh
Abstract
Article Summary
Densities, viscosities and ultrasonic velocities of binary mixtures of drug sulphathiazole with dioxane at a particular composition have been measured at 303K, 308 and 313 K temperature. These data have been utilized to calculate acoustic parameters viz. isentropic compressibility, intermolecular free length, specific acoustic impedance, relative association and solvation number. The results are interpreted in terms of the effect of change in temperature on intermolecular interactions between the component of the mixtures.
