Abstract

Article Summary

The efficacy of 6-(3-methyl-2-butenyl)aminopurine on production of lactic acid by Lactobacillus casei NCIM-2617 has been assessed. It has been found that the cytokine, i.e., 6-(3-methyl-2-butenyl)aminopurine at concentrations 8.0×10–5M enchances the production of lactic acid to an exent of 10.886% higher in comparison to control while at 9.0×10–5M and onwards concentrations of 6-(3-methyl-2-butenyl)aminopurinee inhibits the production of lactic acid to a great extent in comparison to control.
