Production of citric acid by Aspergillus oryzae NCIM-929 exposed to tris(dodecylbenzenesulfonate)isopropoxide

The efficacy of tris(dodecylbenzene-sulfonate)isopropoxideon fermentative production of citric acid has been assessed. It has been found that - tris(dodecylbenzene sulfonate)isopropoxide has stimulatory effect on fermentative production of citric acid by Aspergillus oryzae NCIM-929 and enhances the yield of citric acid to an extent of 8.693% higher in comparison to control fermentor flasks, i.e., 7.109 g/100 ml under the optimized conditions.
